Introducing …. Booky Wooky

Booky Wooky Baby LogoBooky Wooky Ltd is a family run business set up by The Stented Missus & The Stented Papa a few years back. We were forced to put it on hold due to my on going heart issues (among other things) mid December 2015.

But we are (strongly thinking of) bringing it back – yeah baby yeah!!!!

What is Booky Wooky?

Booky Wooky books are personalised baby board books that you create on our site (which is currently down btw). You are the ‘editor-in-chief‘ of your very own durable / child proof board book. Take a peek at this short video I created in 2014.

In 2015, things started to move. We were gaining traction, orders were flowing in, customers were happy with the product and we were getting great reviews. In fact, every review we received via our Facebook page gave our product 5 starsΒ – like this one:

So with real interest growing, you can imagine how gutted we were when we had to put the business on hold.

Well it’s time to change that!!

Silver Lining

Everything happens for a reason right?! Well I certainly think so because as my regular readers will know having heart disease prompted me to leave my job with Pubble & become a F/T SAHD and a Daddy Blogger.

While always needing to improve on this, I feel I’ve definitely gotten The Stented Papa’s name out there. I’ve a very loyal readership and the beauty of this is the majority of my followers are parents &/or parenting bloggers themselves.

So in an ironic turn of events, The Stented Papa’s readers are in fact Booky Wooky‘s exact target market! And as a result, we now have a far broader list of potential customers than when we started the business and that excites the shit out of me!

Benefits of Booky Wooky:

To be honest, there are loads but here’s a brief snap shot.

  • Fun to create & fun for your baby/child to useBooky Wooky Owls Logo
  • Visual recognition of family members for babies
  • Hand to Eye co-ordination improvement
  • Motor skills development
  • Help with word development e.g. there’s ‘Grandad / Mama’ etc
  • They are durable, baby friendly & extremely long lasting
  • As your babies grow, they are a lovely keep-sake for parents to look back on
  • They make a great gift for other family members (especially those living overseas)
  • 12 ‘Themes’ to currently pick from
  • Also works brilliantly for creches / primary schools / soft play cafe’s etc
Re-Launch Date?

Being 100% honest, I don’t know at the moment. We have a lot of work to do in the meantime with regards to getting a brand new site built front & back end, integration of 3rd party software & amendments to the existing company structure. But soon.

Marketing

This is the immediate task. Getting the name back out there. Set the tongues wagging. Build the interest. I have a plan. In 2014 I got a distinction for my Digital Marketing Diploma which I based on Booky Wooky. So, I just need to implement that. Simples right?!! Somehow I don’t think so but I can’t wait to take the challenge on.

Social Media

Ok so you’re gonna have to forgive the lack of tweets / Facebook posts / Instagram posts / You Tube videos etc as we haven’t been active on them. But that’ll change now too so it would be great if you give them some love. We’ll follow you back of course!

    1. Hey Debbie! Getting a personalised book (as a child) is a very special thing to receive. Myself & my bro got Sesame Street books which had are names and our friends names and we absolutely looked them. At Booky Wooky we are personalisation to another level altogether – and that excites us big time. Thanks for reading & commenting, I really appreciate it! Ross #MMBC #BookyWooky
